This is going to be way fun. My pals Mike and Donna Van Meter and the congregation at Calvary Chapel of the Foothills (Browns Valley) are hosting a Concert in the Park at Ellis Lake Park. There is a small “island” (aka Gazebo Island) which is accessible by a foot path. This path, generally leads from the intersection of 12th St. and D St. In other words, there is no specific street address that I can find anywhere. You should pay attention to street/parking lot signage to make sure you’ve parked in a good spot. It will likely be a short walk from there to the island. The gazebo is easy to spot once you come right up on it.
There will be a free “sack lunch” provided for attendees while they last, Unsure of other details beyond that, so it might be a good idea to tote along a couple bottles of water or other non-alcoholic beverage so you’re good to go. Blankets and lawn chairs might not be a bad idea as well.
I’ll be doing a couple 30-to-40-minute sets and there will be a short message as well. Of course, we’re hoping to not only bless the Body but to be an encouraging witness to the community there. Come join us!
