Trey Lindsley, who is the Interim Music Director at Montecito Covenant Church, contacted me with the invitation to play on this evening. He is part of a band called The Third (made up of Westmont College graduates and students) that will open the concert. You can find some of Trey’s solo efforts on BandCamp, SoundCloud, and ReverbNation. I look forward to meeting him and hearing the band … and then going to work a little bit myself. As we will be officially after-Thanksgiving, there’s a good chance I’ll be playing several tunes from Christmastide … by then it will be fully legal to listen to Christmas Music, right?
