D.C. AREA ALERT – Plans are in process for me to play a Private House Call Concert in Bethesda, MD on Saturday, September 29th. Also in the works is a 6pm public concert nearby on Sunday the 30th. I’ll add that to my website concert page when I have the specifics.
I’m looking to fill-in Friday, September 28th with something (house concert, church concert, coffeehouse, etc.) So, I’m hoping to “crowdsource” that evening’s availability by posting to social media and my email list. If interested, please kindly respond by email to BOB@BOBBENNETT.COM and include your phone number. I handle all my own scheduling, so “no salesman will call”. It will just be me.
For those who may not know, a “House Call Concert” … a term I think I may have coined … is my traveling specifically to sing for someone who is dealing with a tough health situation (chronic illness, cancer, end-of-life). I try very hard to do as much of this gratis as I can manage. I don’t “charge” for this. Some folks have underwritten travel costs or donation frequent flyer miles. One way to help this along is to fill-in the surrounding dates with other gigs.
