This early evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., I’ll be sharing the stage with singer-songwriter Mark Kelly Hall. We’ll likely be performing in-the-round, which means song-trading around an onstage circle … even though this particular circle is only two guys. He’s a Facebook Friend who found out I was coming to the Nashville area for a Retreat so he invited me to come … so that’s where I’m going! I’m looking forward to making a new friend and hearing some new songs (his)! About the restaurant … I had a great lunch last year at the Puckett’s location in Franklin, so I expect the food here will be just great so this could be a fun dinner-and-music. It might be best to call for reservations and let them know you’re interested in the best listening seats up front for the six o’clock set. See you there …

Singer/songwriters Bob Bennett and Mark Kelly Hall will perform a special early show at Puckett’s Chattanooga on Sunday, April 9. The music, an acoustic blend of Americana originals and favorites, will start at 6 p.m. Admission is free and tips are appreciated.

Bob Bennett, an early and influential figure in contemporary Christian music, is a master guitarist and storyteller. CCM Magazine acclaimed his 1982 album Matters of the Heart as “Album of the Year,” ranking it among the top 20 contemporary Christian albums of all time. His poetic lyrical talents, fingerstyle guitar expertise, and often self-deprecating humor have won the loyalty and affection of fans across the nation.

Mark Kelly Hall, originally from the Chattanooga area and now based in Nashville, addresses topics such as love, faith and the 70’s. His songs reflect the spiritual heritage of the Bible-belt South, combined with a lifelong fascination with American pop culture, and seasoned by his experiences in places far away from his native Tennessee. His style recalls James Taylor and Jim Croce, and his presentation is flavored with congeniality, personal insight, and a touch of country blues.

Puckett’s is located next to the Tennessee Aquarium. For reservations or more information about the restaurant, call (423) 708-8505 or go to …
