Fill-In Dates

Every once in awhile, I have a local Southern California weekend or out-of-town trip where I have extra available dates in my schedule. For either professional or, sometimes, personal reasons I’m in a specific area with a day or two that could be an additional opportunity for me to sing. “Fill-In Dates” is my shorthand for this but it doesn’t connote leftovers in a quality sense. I still try hard!

In fact, many times, because there is a date or two already on the calendar, travel expenses (when applicable) are already taken care of. So these fill-in dates afford a chance to schedule me to visit and sing without some of those costs.

I try to be flexible and creative when approaching these dates. All I need is someone to partner with me so we can dream something up.

Then, let’s schedule an old-school phone call and talk about it … it’s not scary, it’s just me … and I’m not pushy.

As far as this Sunday goes, the chances are really good that I can do
something late-afternoon or early evening. My plan is to stay at a hotel
near MSP Airport for my Noon-ish flight back home on Monday.

GREATER BALTIMORE AREA

This is still open (although a friend is checking at this writing to do
something, but not confirmed as yet.) If I play on Friday, I’d likely need a
place to stay on Thursday and Friday nights … and help getting to Dayton, MD
on Saturday morning.

If something works out for Sunday, I might need a place to stay for Sunday
night if my return flight is not until the next day (Monday).
